What this site collects
This site has no contact form, no account system and no advertising. It sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics that identify you.
The web server keeps standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested and browser user agent — for security and diagnostics. Logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
If you email us
Email sent to info@eastcodes.com is stored in our mail provider so that we can reply and keep a record of the enquiry. We use it to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Client data
During a project we may be given access to systems containing personal data belonging to a client's own customers. That access is governed by the agreement with the client, limited to what the work requires, and revoked at the end of the engagement. We do not use client data for any other purpose.
Service providers
We rely on third parties for hosting, email, source control and error reporting. Each processes data only on our instructions and under its own agreement with us. We do not transfer personal data to anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@eastcodes.com and you will get an answer within thirty days.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting an active client will also be sent by email.
